SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to direct the development, design, execution, and analysis of Customer Relationship Marketing strategies that increase customer retention (all loyalty initiatives); increase FE and Rx sales by leveraging the Rite Aid customer base through a corporate-wide CRM plan of targeted 1/1 programs; and to continue to build the Rite Aid customer database. Includes providing business partner leadership for development/installation of CRM IT support. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

1. Develops, launches, and maintains all marketing loyalty programs (including program benefits, rules, consumer communication plans, store execution, and ongoing initiatives). Specific program responsibilities include:
-Development of loyalty program(s) strategy.
-Creation, production and distribution of program benefits/offers and all consumer communications.
-Organization and direction of cross functional teams to execute programs. Depending on the program, teams can include areas such as IS, Advertising (internal and external), Store Operations, Customer Service, Category Management, and Legal.
-Regular reporting and complete analysis of programs and future recommendations for all aspects of the programs.
2. Develop, launch and maintain a CRM store-wide, multi-channel communication plan to include all 1/1 consumer communication; individual marketing programs (i.e. SCR); vendor-funded communications, and permission-based, informational, promotional, and event-driven communications; and new and existing pharmacy compliance efforts; channels include direct mail, email, widget-based, mobile text, and voice.
3. Develop and execute marketing programs designed to build the Rite Aid customer database or append valuable information to the existing Rite Aid customer database.
4. Business partner with Rite Aid IT in the development and implementation of CRM IT infrastructure.
5. Other Marketing projects as assigned.

Education:
Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, plus seven (7) to eight (8) years CRM at a management level and supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Retail experience is preferred.
