Equipment Training (NET) Trainers and Subject Matter Experts (SME)
Provides technical support and training to customers and users worldwide with a focus on system readiness. Support includes technical assistance, advice, formal and informal operator and maintenance training, technical data collection and reporting. Training consists of system operation, assembly and subassembly troubleshooting, component and system fault isolation and repair. Must be able to interpret and use all types of engineering drawings and schematics. Work may require traveling to the installation sites within the South West Asia (SWA) Area of Responsibility) (AOR) to provide temporary assistance and support New Equipment Training (NET) of Add on-Armor (AoA). Ability to develop and present formal and informal training. Analytical ability sufficient to independently diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Requirements:

Education or Experience Requirements:

AA/AS degree or equivalent (i.e. Certificate, diploma, or formal military training or other relevant experience may be substituted).

Documented work experience as a senior vehicle mechanic or senior technician or maintenance supervisor on the companys product line or other military vehicles or heavy equipment.

Must be trained in diesel or heavy equipment maintenance. Training or experience in basic electronics and hydraulics. Must demonstrate skill in troubleshooting, repair, and use of computerized or automated test equipment. Must be computer literate and capable of creating formal reports, emails, and briefings. Should be familiar with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Power Point). Must possess or qualify for a DoD SECRET security clearance. Commercial Drivers License, Welding Certificate and EPA 609 Automotive Air Conditioning Repair Certification required. Instructor Certification, ASE Certifications and relevant military experience preferred. Management of Authorized Stockage List (ASL) Spare Part Components desired.

Must be able to work a flexible 10 hour per day workday, seven days a week, or compressed schedule of not less than six days, 70 hours per week.

Performance period is six (6) months in South West Asia (SWA) and an option for an additional six (6) month deployment in SWA.

Must be able to work weekends, overtime, holidays, and any shift if required.

Perform in compliance with Government SOW.
