GIS Application Developer

The selected candidate will become part of our Spatial Development team providing GIS application development support. The GIS developer will work with multiple project teams and be responsible for the development and delivery of high quality GIS solutions, including hands on desktop and web-based application development with ArcGIS Server, Bing Maps, Google Maps, Open Layers etc.

Additionally the spatial developer will be responsible for delivering projects and tasks on time and within budget. Working with the various business groups, project teams and clients, the GIS developer will assist in developing proposals, statements of work, budgets, requirements, and schedules for GIS projects and tasks.
As a member of the Enterprise Spatial Solutions team, the spatial developer will work with our technology group to help monitor, evaluate, upgrade, and troubleshoot our delivery technologies, including hardware and software.


Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience with (ArcGIS 9.x, ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, and ArcObjects development), 2 years experience with one or more database technologies (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MS Access, PostgreSQL), and at least 2 years experience with .NET. Knowledge of other GIS vendors/technologies and open source stacks will be considered a plus, however the ability to quickly learn new technologies will be required: Google, Bing, Open Layers, DNN, Drupal
