As a Senior Web analyst you will support all facets of the decision-making process at Fire Mountain Gems and Beads. Through the use of multiple Web analytics tools, e.g., Omniture, CoreMetrics, you will provide analysis and insight into the performance of the Fire Mountain Gems and Beads website, keeping an eye on continuous improvement.

* Use standard business intelligence techniques to data mine and produce actionable reports

* Suggest, create and execute multivariate or a/b tests that drive fundamental improvements to the site experience

* Utilize multiple information sources, both internal and external, to develop coherent strategies

* Monitor website behavior and analyze the customer experience; suggest improvements based on data and observed trends


Requirements:

*Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience. Masters degree a plus.

* 5+ years experience working for a Direct Marketing or eCommerce company

* 2+ years of experience in competitive analysis, surveys or market research

* 2+ years of experience working with standard clickstream analysis tools

* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access

* Data mining experience, familiarity with Hyperion or Crystal Reports, or ability to code queries using SQL

* Expertise in Search Engine Marketing analysis and/or program management

* Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and management
