Are you able to meet aggressive deadlines? Do you have experience doing so in the past?
Yes and, yes. I have worked to meet grant application deadlines and have met every one, I have worked to meet computer upgrade deadlines and again, have met every one. I have held a seat on two Corporate Boards as a director and, I have work diligently to meet every request and deadline.

Describe a situation in which you've applied your skills to solve a problem.
I had several computers that had an ME OS installed, I had to upgrade them to NT 4.0 without any technical documentation available from MS or any technical support for the ME OS regarding upgrades to 4.0 from MS. After 5 days of online research and discussion boards I ran a successful test environment, backed up all critical data, deployed the upgrade and was successful.

Describe the job you have held in the past that was most gratifying.
Environmental Officer/NT Administrator/Property Management/Youth Employment Director/Assistant to the President/ I wore many other hats for the Salamatof Tribal Council.

Describe your ability to solve problems in the workplace.
Personal problems I resolved by first determining the problem, I do not place blame on anyone for the problem, and then what can I do to resolve the problem. With technical issues I work backwards from the problem, was there any new drivers installed, was there any new software installed, were there any service packs recently installed, patches, what was the user doing when the problem occurred, has the problem occurred before, how many times.

Do you like working alone or in a team environment?
I am comfortable working in either, however I have found that working in a team environment is most productive.

Have you ever managed a project for your previous employer? What was the result?
I have handled numerous projects, from land management and commercial development to writing a QA/QC program and a Tribal Environmental agreement. All projects were completed on time and successful.

How can you help our company be more profitable?
By understanding the business needs of the company and helping to develop solutions to support these goals, bringing my previous experiences and current education to the team, by expanding my areas of responsibilities and continuing to learn new things.

How do you go about making important decisions?
I make decisions based on company policy, if there is no policy in place then I make decisions based on what is best for the company.

How much experience have you had with computers?
I have 20+ years of computer experience, starting in the days of 5.25 boot disk in an Apple Commodore 64

Tell me how you would handle multiple projects in the job.
Highest priority project gets immediate attention, after all that can be done to accomplish the highest priority task I then move on to the next highest priority project. If possible I will delegate tasks to the appropriate individuals or groups.

Tell me something about yourself that I didn't know from reading your resume.
I am 40 years old, I have a long history of successfully held positions, a strong dedication to work, honest as the day is long and, an invaluable asset to any company.

What do you like to do when you are not at work?
Spend as much time as I can with my family.

What makes you unique and why should we hire you over any of our other candidates?
My perspective makes me unique. My involvement with computers since 1981 gives me a broad range of experience to draw from. I do not believe that I should be hired over any other candidate that is as qualified or more qualified as I. I believe that a good fit is essential to a successful company and a successful employee.

What prompted you to choose your current career?
Computers have been my preferred domains ever since I was introduced to them in 1981. The extraordinary developments in this field, both in the hardware and, especially, in the software area, have further stimulated my interest and have encouraged me to choose the Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) Certificate as the main focus of my career.

Why did you leave your last job?
I was working under an EPA-GAP grant and the grant ended.
