I am a recent graduate from Oberlin College located in a small, quaint town with the same name in the state of Ohio. I have a BA degree in psychology and plan to continue my education in London studying international journalism. Ideally, I would like to work in London for a year after I obtain my Master’s degree to gain work experience as a journalist. I plan to live in a Spanish-speaking country writing for that community and as an ambassador to the United States. I have Spanish fluency and plan to, in the next five years, have Arabic and Japanese intermediate status.Writing is my passion while sleeping and eating are close runner-ups. My personal motto comes from an English writer by the name of Charles R. Swindoll: “We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations.” I love to travel although I am definitely a novice, but my experience in Spain, Morocco and Portugal has opened my eyes to the benefits of international education and relations. As a recent graduate my impulse has been to jump right into life. While I mind speed bumps and road signs I admit that sometimes I run red-lights.
