Position Type: Substation Master Technician Salary: $38.29 Location: Sedalia Co. Qualifications This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Four years? experience in a substation environment and completion of a Substation Technical apprenticeship or vocational degree are required. Must be very familiar with substation operation and equipment and must be very know?ledgeable in substation testing and equipment maintenance. An electronics background is required including knowledge in SCADA systems, relays and computerized test equipment. Must be familiar with computers, Windows and DOS applications including programming equipment with laptops. Must be able to read electrical prints, one-line and three-line drawings, and be able to troubleshoot from them. Must have the desire and ability to pursue training and increase job knowledge. A valid Colorado Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and a DOT medical certificate are required and must be maintained.
