The Subcontract Manager will be responsible for negotiating, issuing and managing a portfolio of complex subcontracts totaling $50M or more in value. This individual will execute and manage all required agreements which would include long term, proprietary information and non-disclosure agreements. This individual will also prepare and issue requests for proposal (RFP), requests for quotation (RFQ) and ensure timely responses to meet program needs.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct negotiations during program bid phase and for equitable adjustment requests due to a change(s) in scope
Supply base management and development
Draft, review and issue purchase order in accordance with established policies and procedures
Manage relationships between subcontract suppliers and Rolls Royce as it applies to the contractual relationships
Conduct monthly reviews to assist in managing technical, schedule, quality and financial performance via review of applicable metrics
Analyze technical, schedule, quality and financial performance of the subcontract supplier.
Establishment and tracking, reporting and variance analysis of subcontract supplier performance
Negotiate, establish, and monitor payment terms, to include the review, processing and payment of subcontract supplier invoices
Ensure subcontract supplier compliance with public law and Rolls-Royce company policy and procedures

Requirements:
Basic:
Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of experience in purchasing role
Experience in placing orders, negotiating agreements and managing the entire subcontract management process.
Experience in Microsoft Office
Experience in SAP or ERP system
Preferred:
Proven track record that includes working collaboratively with Program Management and Engineering/Technical individuals regarding management of statement of work requirements and subcontractor deliverables
