The Joint Commission evaluates and accredits more than 19,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States. We seek a Field Director, Long-Term Care to join our team in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
Field Director, Long-Term Care Provides direction and leadership to reviewers. Selects, manages, trains and evaluates assigned reviewers. Assists with workforce planning and maintains liaison between Accreditation and Certification Operations and strategic planning initiatives. In conjunction with operations team, ensures that organizations receive excellent customer service and that their certification needs are met. Provides program specific knowledge and information to internal and external customers.
Qualifications: RN with a master's degree in management or a related field. At least five years of managerial experience in hospital and long-term care settings and knowledge of Joint Commission policies, standards, survey, and certification processes. Up to 50% travel.
