The PHP Developer will work with a team of developers in the Information Technology Department and be responsible for assisting with development, testing and maintenance of the various applications. This will include Web applications utilizing the latest technology and Client and Server-Side scripting languages.
We are looking for talented developers to join our team; ability and commitment is more important than current skill set. However, for this position, candidates should possess a minimum of two years of experience utilizing PHP to develop web applications.

Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Experience with object oriented programming/modular programming
Understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks
Proficiency developing web applications utilizing PHP 5, SQL, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, XML, HTML, and CSS
Experience with the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering and functional specification authoring to development, testing and delivery
Committed to incorporating best practices, web standards, and scalable code into his programming solutions and improving skill-set
Creative problem solver
Some knowledge of the Linux command line and or exposure to IBM i-Series
Proficient in clearly communicating technical concepts and details verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences
