Senior Program Manager Pacific Contours Aerospace Machining and Assembly is hiring a Senior Program Manager at our Anaheim Division.The Senior Program Manager is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance of customer accounts through communication and coordination of work flow through intercompany departments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Communicating with the customer product status and delivery schedules.• Communicating production needs with outside vendors and suppliers.• Continuously monitoring customer needs in order to effectively communicate changes in the production schedule.• Communicating material requirements to the Purchasing Department utilizing “Just-In-Time” delivery strategies.• Status and release of production jobs at the appropriate time to minimize WIP inventory.• Conferring with the Operations Manager and Production Department to resolve conflicts affecting production schedules.• Performing customer contract review to ensure completeness, accuracy and acceptability.• Accurately forecasting job completions for use in revenue planning.• Various additional tasks as assigned by manager and as needed to meet customer requirements.
Requirements:
Necessary Skills to perform the job well include:
• Technical Ability – Basic knowledge of procurement standards/rules relating to supplier base, material availability, and material/service costs as it relates to machine parts/assemblies for defense related programs.• Customer Service – Responds promptly to customer needs and meets customer’s expectations.• Knowledge of MRP systems, preferably Epicor/Vantage software, and Microsoft Office suite.
Experience Required: 5-7 years in an Aerospace or Automotive production control environment.
