We currently have an opening for a Nurse Educator at Sutter Delta Medical Center.

 

The Clinical Educator/Partnership Council Coordinator at SDMC oversees the quality of programs offered by the Hospital to assure compliance with standards for continuing education of professional licensing organizations. This position develops programs designed to enrich skills or meet identified goals and educational needs in all hospital departments.  He/she will collaborate with Directors and Managers regarding development and evaluation of staff competency assessments and serve as a resource for department based preceptors. 



Requirements:

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. BSN required; Master's Degree preferred
  • 3 - 5 years of progressive nursing experience in acute care and education and regulatory activities
  • Current California Registered Nurse License and BLS Certification
  • Experience in development and implementation of policies and procedures on an organizational level using evidence based practice
  • Familiarity with critical thinking and teaching methods
  • Must be proficient in windows applications: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Understanding and management of challenging, complex and rapidly changing situations;
  • Excellent writing, planning, computer and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a self-motivated, independent capacity is essential  
  • Ability to effectively present ideas at the administrative level
