Medical Assistant Instructor (FT & PT opportunities available)
Everest Institute – Chelsea, MA
General Duties:
• Maintain a teaching assignment each module
• Plan course instruction based on approved syllabus/course outline provided to ensure course content and learning objectives are met
• Distribute a copy of the module calendar to all students at first class meeting
• Utilize a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate the learning styles of a diverse student enrollment
• Administer and grade examinations
• Actively maintain student retention by keeping accurate daily attendance records, calling absent students, recording absentee information in roster after each class meeting, and communicating any attendance concerns to the Program Chair or DOE
• Schedule and post office hours to advise, tutor and provide other student assistance as needed
Requirements:
• Must have diploma/certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree in your particular field.
• Must have 5 years full time documented occupational work experience that has occurred after the training in your particular field.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and motivational skills
• Teaching experience a plus, but not required, will train
