To actively participate and contribute to Huawei?s systems engineering activities related to the LTE product. This includes customer requirement identification, corresponding solution design, system architecture definition, theoretical analysis, computer-aided analysis, regular active participation in design and review sessions. The successful applicant is expected to be highly motivated and innovative, tackle tough problems and create the best solutions to meet customer needs.

Requirements:
Experience with and in-depth knowledge of one or more wireless network standards and products such as LTE, WCDMA /HSPA, CDMA2000, IEEE 802.16x. Familiar with MIMO/OFDM systems, MAC layer and upper layer algorithms and architecture.
Thorough understanding in one of the following areas: o eNodeB system architect including baseband, L2, radio unit, I&RF,PA and BTS site solution. Or rich experience (3+) in one of the these areas. o LTE radio resource algorithms including scheduler, power control, interference cancellation and coordination, resource management, mobile management, etc. o Wireless backhaul, Relay/Mesh network. o Pico cell /Femtocell and in depth knowledge on indoor coverage solution. o Multimedia broadcast and multicast services, o E-E QoS mechanisms and related protocols such as DiffServ, IntServ, RSVP. o Knowledge of link budgets, capacity, and throughput analysis. o In depth understanding of radio access network O&M o Broadband Access or IP network knowledge „X The individual should be familiar with architectural components involved in the support of 3G/4G Mobile radio access networks such as eNode B, SGSN/GGSN, MME/SGW and other network elements in the respective architecture models.
BSEE at least 3 years, MSEE or PhD and at least 2 years experience in wireless communications preferably for a telecom vendor or telecom carrier
This position will require 25-30% travel domestically and internationally
