Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manages integrated conveyor system projects prior to and during the sale, during system commissioning, and provides limited post installation support
  • Designs conveyor systems, including horsepower, speed, hanger, and rate calculations
  • Develops installation drawings, device layouts and calculates steel loading of the  system
  • Ability to estimate project costs and work within budgetary parameters
  • Ability to select the appropriate conveyor controls and write clear technical descriptions of the system operation
  • At least 25% travel for field measurements, conveyor system installations, start-up, and commissioning of systems
  • Experience with robotics, and multi-line palletizing systems preferred

 

Skills:

  • Excellent project management and technical, analytical, graphical and creative design skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a multiple projects at the same time
  • Active user of SalesForce.com or other customer relations management (CRM) preferred
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems is preferred

 

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree is preferred
  • Five years of professional experience in project management; experience with the design and application of package/unit load conveyor systems preferred
