Responsibilities:
Manages integrated conveyor system projects prior to and during the sale, during system commissioning, and provides limited post installation support
Designs conveyor systems, including horsepower, speed, hanger, and rate calculations
Develops installation drawings, device layouts and calculates steel loading of the system
Ability to estimate project costs and work within budgetary parameters
Ability to select the appropriate conveyor controls and write clear technical descriptions of the system operation
At least 25% travel for field measurements, conveyor system installations, start-up, and commissioning of systems
Experience with robotics, and multi-line palletizing systems preferred
Skills:
Excellent project management and technical, analytical, graphical and creative design skills
Proficient in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent organizational, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and manage a multiple projects at the same time
Active user of SalesForce.com or other customer relations management (CRM) preferred
Knowledge of pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems is preferred
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree is preferred
Five years of professional experience in project management; experience with the design and application of package/unit load conveyor systems preferred
