SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Analyze customer inquiries for EBM opportunities and determine process and compare that to corporate-wide options and capabilities to determine the optimum manufacturing solutions. Evaluate and define capital and operating costs associated with these solutions and recommend selling prices consistent with the market place and corporate guidelines.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain awareness of corporate-wide EBM manufacturing capacities.
Analyze customer inquiries for EBM blow-molded containers, compare opportunities with existing and/or projected manufacturing capacities and identify optimum manufacturing solutions.
Define capital and operating costs associated with these solutions and recommend selling prices consistent with corporate guidelines.
Develop major price proposals.
Advise and coach Pricing Analysts in identification and application of appropriate manufacturing parameters to be used for individual bottle inquiries.
Maintain regular dialog with the Commercial Development Group (Norcross, GA) to maintain awareness of new technology and process developments relevant to the business and to ensure team leaders are aware of relevant changes in market trends and projected costs.
In conjunction with Sales and Marketing Managers, help track market pricing and recommend pricing strategy to optimize market share and profitable growth.
Requirements:
EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Marketing Research, Business (Finance/Accounting), or related field. Preferred: MBA
EXPERIENCE: Required: 2 + years of prior business experience Preferred: Experience in marketing/pricing and financial analysis as well as experience in EBM manufacturing operations and EBM plastics processing
SKILLS: Required: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Analytical and strategic thinking skills. Ability to handle multiple projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel Preferred: Prior EBM Package Development experience
