Senior Data Manager needed to provide Project Management and data management skills for projects supporting Data Governance and the management of the enterprise end-to-end Risk Management / Basel II Controls & Integration Program team.
Job Purpose: ? Responsible for the definition of a Data Governance program and completion of Plan/Define phase work leading into Data Management Metrics and Monitoring. ? Development of key organizations/processes and policies to drive best data management practices and policies through the company. ? Experience defining key data metrics and dashboards. ? Ability to build out the dashboards for regular monthly reporting. ? Possibly could include logical design and implementation of databases and data systems. ? Identifies potential architectural frameworks for managing data and metadata within systems ? Directs project teams made up of company & vendor resources in data modeling and database design ? Ensures adherence to company?s data management tools & standards ? Contributes to ongoing improvement of company?s data management practices ? May be involved in resolving complex data related issues ? Provides direct supervision to others of lower levels including performance management and employee development.
Requirements:
Education and Experience: BS and 8 + years or equivalent Key Required Experience: ? Experience in Data Governance, Data Management REQUIRED. ? Exemplary writing skills ? Ability to document policy, standards, procedures ? Understand and have direct experience with defining metadata, reference data, data quality standards, and data quality metrics. ? Project Management experience (project plans, facilitating meetings, structured project methodology)
